O's sign Nolan Reimold to a one-year contract

In an effort to avoid arbitration, the Orioles sign Nolan Reimold to a one-year contract.

On Friday, the Baltimore Orioles avoided arbitration with outfielder Nolan Reimold by signing him to a one-year, $1 million contract for 2013.

Reimold only appeared in 16 games in 2012 before being sidelined with a herniated disk that kept him on the shelf for the rest of the season.

The Orioles still have eight players who are eligible for arbitration that they have not come to terms with yet: Chris Davis, Jason Hammel, Tommy Hunter, Jim Johnson, Brian Matusz, Darren O’Day, Troy Patton, and Matt Wieters.
